The desire to provide quality education was rekindled by my guru. Finding my guru, Shri. Balakrishna Pillai, was perhaps the most important episode in my life.
I believe that finding a guru is one’s destiny. One doesn’t get a guru by choice. One needs to be blessed by God to get a guru. Again, I think it was God who brought to me someone who trusted me with his funds. I was fortunate to have received support and funds from well-wishers to start Athena Education Investment, LLC in Dubai and to take over L'ecole Chempaka Society for Educare in India.
It’s not my sense of numbers that resulted in someone trusting me, I think it was the love of God, and a heart of love and willingness to sacrifice for others — both attributes that I learned from spiritual texts that my guru introduced me to — that brought me close to the source of funds.
