Every religion teaches us to liberate ourselves from unrighteousness and move in the path of righteousness. Once a person liberates the self from himself, the quality of social grace takes over him. It means one’s good traits are liberated from the clutches of unrighteousness.
A person with good traits loves nature and lives according to the laws of nature. He or she uses nature to create his or her own place or a world to live in; and, follows the laws of nature without shedding blood. Thus, human beings have the ability to use and to protect nature. This ability or quality is what I would like to refer to as social grace.
There’s no human being who doesn’t create. People, who engage in creation, need to follow traits of Godliness and righteousness in order to attain the goals. And, when he or she creates, care should be taken not to sacrifice love, peace and other values. If one keeps positive values in one’s creative vocation, one can reach the pinnacle of happiness. The moment one is willing to sacrifice or give, love takes over one’s heart and one attains happiness. This is possible only with the quality of social grace.
The focus on social grace in my life motivated me to establish the Athena group of schools in the UAE.
