When we leave this world, we leave all that we’ve made, acquired, or possessed. Whatever happens thereafter is unknown … We also don’t know what can happen to us tomorrow. We can gain, lose, could be incapacitated or dead – all that is unknown. I believe what stays forever in my life is my unconditional love that I show in the moment, today.
We are often after name, fame and position in the society. I see many individuals sacrificing moments of joy for those ends. And, in the end, they are often left with hardly any good moments to cherish.
Many prefer to lose the moment, even deciding not to enjoy the feel of a song, and go after an unknown happiness in the future.
Here’s an imaginary dialogue that could be representative of what is happening today:
“Hey, why don’t you listen?” “Sorry, I have no time.”
“Why don’t you enjoy the food?” “No, I’m in a hurry.”
“Hmm, so can you at least enjoy a bath?” “Well, I’ll put it off for today.”
So, are you living in this moment or are you living for an unknown moment in the future?
